7 Ways To Get Completely FREE Traffic
This is a fact: driving targeted traffic to your websites and affiliate offers is one of the major problems most new affiliates face. There are so many options available and even more so-called experts recommending different types of traffic generating techniques that it can be very confusing at first, but it doesn’t need to be that way if you cut through the fluff.
When I went full-time as an affiliate, around 12 years ago now, a huge amount of traffic went through websites like Yahoo’s directory and the now depleted “Infoseek” directory and you could submit practically anything to these directories and normally have them listed and receiving traffic, often a LOT of traffic, within a day or two.
It was remarkably easy (and extremely profitable too) as the competition was nothing like the way it is in the marketplace now, but at the same time I actually think it’s far easier to make an impact on the Internet these days, because the shift towards social networking type websites has enabled anyone with a computer and something (useful?) to say to build a following and a community of people around themselves who will listen to their advice on a chosen topic and ultimately trust their judgment about the products and services they should buy.
That’s far more powerful than anything you could do online 5, 10, or 15 years ago, so if any of you think “it’s okay for you, you were online when it was easy”, nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact, I’d go as far as to say that it’s EASY now… if you know what you’re doing…
One person I’ve got a lot of respect for online is a lady called Nicole Dean and the reason I’m so keen on her is that she understands the power of branding yourself as an expert in your field. She doesn’t do crummy marketing ploys, or quick hit techniques that “might” pull a trickle of one-time traffic… she concentrates on building streams of ongoing (and growing) traffic to your websites and this, my friends, is exactly what you should be thinking about too.
There’s little point, or no point at all, in wasting endless hours banging out ads all day long in the hope that you might make the odd sale or two when, with a couple of hours of concentrated effort a day, your time could be spent nurturing relationships with your readers and building your business for long-term success. That’s the “secret” to creating the kind of residual income that will enable you to pack in your day job and go full-time online, so don’t be tempted to listen to (or worse – ACT LIKE) the snakeoil salesman who will do or say anything just to make a quick buck.
Fortunately, Nicole has put together a special report for you that shows you how to drive totally free traffic to your websites. Like the ideas in the report, it’s completely FREE too, so do yourself a favor and get it now…

Loved the radio show/podcast idea in the book. I might well try that!
Yes, totally agree Craig. It’s an easy way to create fresh content for your site and promote the site into the bargain. The “featured expert” idea is a good one too.

Thanks so much for the kind words!, Paul.
Yes, quality will always win over the fast buck. I’m building a BUSINESS with a solid foundation, and that’s the reason why I can go off on vacation for 5 weeks, without a Blackberry. ;)
Appreciate you much!
Nicole
You’re welcome Nicole. I thought your guide was excellent – better info in that than many $100 (or even higher) books and courses. People just need to put them into action now…

Thanks Kevin!
Always nice to hear from a fellow Studiopress fan :-)
I’ve still got a lot of content I need to add to the site, but I’m trying to do something on it every day so it shouldn’t take too long to get it in shape. I’m going to start doing case-studies shortly too and I think those will be quite interesting.
