How To Be Juicy Enough For Twitter

In the space of a few months Twitter has revolutionised the way we’re operating our websites and doing business online. Micro-blogging has mass appeal, because it’s fast, easy and if you play your cards right you can attract a LOT of interest very, very quickly on websites like Twitter. There’s a revolution going on and you need to be a part of it!

But, and this is a big BUT…

Most of the people on Twitter are just plain boring. It’s a fact. They talk about doing the garden, what they’re having for dinner, what they bought at the shops today and all of that crap. Now, that’s maybe fine for Britney Spears who already has a fan base who hang on her every word, but if you’re Joe Bloggs who no-one knows I can tell you right now… you’re BORING!

If you’re on Twitter in order to build a following, to connect with your customers, to grab your readers’ attention, and ultimately to do business, then you need to be sharp, you need to be funny, you need to be controversial…

You need to be COOL!

If you recognise yourself in any of this and you simply can’t find the right words to get your tweets re-tweeted (getting with the lingo here guys ;-)) I’ve got the answer for you. It’s called Buzz Profits and it’s the ONLY website online that is actually teaching normal folks like me and you how to write blog posts that automatically pull in thousands of visitors, how to post an article on the social bookmarking sites and get hundreds or thousands of referrals, and…

How to be COOL enough for people to talk about you on Twitter!

Do yourself a favour. Go check out Buzz Profits right now and download their free Max Traffic course.

You won’t regret this, I promise you.

I love it… ;-)

If you’re really cool you are unlikely to be using Twitter to try and make money

    • Paul Graham says:

Craig, that is so wrong mate. It’s not necessarily about making money from Twitter directly, but branding yourself and your business, connecting with your customers, engaging them, keeping them up to date with news about your products and services, asking for and listening to their feedback…

…being a part of their lives.

Every business should use Twitter. I can’t think of a single one who shouldn’t.

I agree with Paul, Craig. You are absolutely wrong. I make lots of friends on Twitter who have no idea what twiter’s TOS are. The do not know why they cannot add friends or get blocked or suspended and really do not know why. I help them. They appreciate it and buy my stuff. I think that is “cool” to use your word. If you want to only chat, then use a Chat room or IM. On twitter you can just unfollow and block people. What is the beef?

  2. Hmm! Interesting. You could say I’ve been a bit of a troglodite (maybe because I live in Greenwich and there are lots of caves here – apparently) and now have woken up to Twitter. I see it primarily as a powerful channel for the members of Sister Snog to deepen the connections they make after they’ve met face-to-face at an event. And because we are a niche business club for the fairer sex they actually like to know some of the day-to-day goings on. Even if it’s what’s on the menu for lunch. Isn’t the point of Twitter about striking an animated balance between business and making it real rather than focussing on the blatant and banal hard core sell.

  3. I agree with Paul. Twitter is great for raising the profile of your brand. Everything in Twitter is opt-in so you can mostly ignore what we commonly regard as spam. I send people worldwide links to articles on my web site. It works, it has increased traffic dramatically and got me on page 1 of Google towards the top. I can now ease off on the PPC by about £200 a month. Win-win – more traffic, less expense, happy readers, top of Google. Thank you Twitter, I couldn’t have done it without you. Rgds Vince

I’ve checked them out and to download their “free” course, you need to pay a US$ 47 membership.

    • Paul Graham says:

That’s for the full membership to Buzz Profits Maria. The Max Traffic course is completely free though and you can pick up some good tips from it too.
