Link Building For Wordpress Made Easy
We all know that increasing your inbound link popularity is one of the major keys to success with a website, but the hassle of contacting other webmasters and asking them to link to you is time-consuming, tedious and it often leaves you feeling like one of those call centre sales guys who try to “coax” you into upgrading your double-glazing while you’re eating your dinner!
It’s time for a change…

What this cool Wordpress plugin will do is connect you into a network of other websites and match up your posts to other related posts in the entire network, promoting your posts and the other network members’ posts automatically.
The service is heavily moderated for adult/spam/warez and other unsavoury content and from what I’ve seen it does a fantastic job of matching your content to other relevant content, so as well as increasing your inbound links and traffic, there’s a good chance it may even add to the user experience on your Wordpress blog or website too.

Awesome review. Thanks! You should install it on this site too.
Kevin – re my last email, I spoke to the hosting company today and they should be able to make the changes I need on the server at the end of the week. It’s a dedicated machine and probably quite dated now as I’ve been on it for 4 or 5 years, so I’ve asked if they can upgrade everything to the latest versions (php, mysql etc. as well as what you suggested). Thanks!
I only put the site online today Kevin. We’ve “twittered” a couple of times in the past about your exchange network though and I absolutely love the idea. Just need to polish off some things on the site first.
Working on it now…
Nice catch Paul – thanks for the heads up!
It’s an excellent plugin Craig – very impressed with it!
I’m going to install it on here some time very soon. I need the hosting company to upgrade something on the server for me first though.
We’ve installed Blog Traffic Exchange on our site. One the one hand it’s a brilliant idea, on the other we mostly publish poetry so the results, so far, are (unintentionally) hilarious. And then on the third hand, the one that keeps flopping in the way, I think “Oh my God, what would happen if everyone really did start using this? Would that be good? Or bad?” Can’t say, but would love to find out. If you haven’t got it go get it.
Yeah, I suspect that if it’s anything Internet related there will be loads of sites to link in with Dale, but something more specific like poetry maybe doesn’t work so well. If you’re in touch with other poetry sites you could always drop them a line and tell them about it. It’s a new concept and I’m sure people will be interested.

@Paul
We (dale and I) discussed the possible results before installing the key on the poetry site.
@Dale
It would be a great thing if everyone started using it!!!
Anyone know what Google (Yahoo, Bing, et al) think about this? Regardless of what spammers try to tell you, they really don’t like “link exchanges.”
The entire Internet is constructed with links, so that wouldn’t concern me at all. The service is heavily moderated too and the links are relevant to the content in your articles – all good if you ask me.

We’re having a major review of our web and social media links/blogging strategy in July. This will be on the agenda. Rgds Vince
I have a network of about 8 blogs I will start implementing on to gauge results. Will start with only 1 test site for starters. Great marketing link though, thanks :)
I also have a few blog sites and am always looking for ways to add relevant posts. Thanks for the info!
