Strangely enough, many new affiliates do make this mistake when they join the Google Adsense program, or other advertising networks, but if you’re being paid on clicks alone do yourself a favor and follow their guidelines.

This is so true, knowing the rules of any affiliate program is important before you get started. Even though this is an old video, the main point still holds true.
Don’t try to game the system, because it won’t work.
That’s absolutely true. You’re right too that the video has been around for a while, but I’m sure a lot of new affiliates still “do a Zoobie” (like the lingo?) when they start out with Adwords etc.

Some really think their bank accounts will fill up by pressing a button. Another point would also be interesting to mention here ; How quickly people label a program a Scam only because they have to spend a little extra money.
